History
In 1970, Mr and Mrs Ted Graham formed the Arcadia Pony and District Riding Club at their property in Bay Road, Arcadia. Originally an adult riding club and not a pony club, it was small in size with only a few families involved.
It was soon realized that the growth of the club could no longer continue at the Graham property and an approach was made to Hornsby Council for the grounds at Johnson Road. The Club incorporated under NSW law in 1988 as the Arcadia Pony Club Inc.
In 2005, after several years of consultation by the community and Hornsby Council, a decision was made to build an Equestrian Facility at Bayfield Road, Galston.
The grounds are now complete and Arcadia Pony Club commenced the 2009 year at the new grounds.
